The Crist Family
The Crist Family is one of the fastest rising family groups in gospel music today. The group began as a part-time ministry in 1987. In 2004, after seventeen years in ministry on the West Coast, God called them to full-time ministry. They stepped out in faith by quitting their jobs, selling all they had and relocating across the country from Seattle, Washington to just north of Knoxville, Tennessee.
In just a few short years, God has opened the door for them to sing a message of hope to thousands of people. They have already ministered in 28 states and Canada. They have appeared at nearly every major event in gospel music, including regular appearances on Main Stage at the National Quartet Convention. They signed a major recording contract with Horizon Records and were picked up by the industry leading Harper Agency for booking management. They have recorded seven CD’s and two Live DVD’s and have had amazing chart success with every song released to radio. In 2009, they won a Singing News Fan Award for Horizon Group of the Year. They have also had several Top 5 and Top 10 nominations, in categories including Favorite Soprano and Favorite Young Artist.
A Crist Family concert features the six member ensemble singing duets, trios, quartets, and as a full ensemble in four, five, and six part harmonies. Everything from classic Southern Gospel to more progressive songs is presented with powerful and intricate harmonies, high energy, clever staging, and moving testimonies.

WallyWe loved your recent concert in Portland on Friday the 13th. Listening to songs like the ones you sing brought me to my present relationship with the Lord a few years ago, and they have a special place in my heart. Thank you for fulfilling this valuable ministry for all of us to take advantage of. It must seem to your family that you all sing the same songs over again at every concert and to a group of gray haired folks. I know God values what you give all of us (young and old) in your audiences to take with us back into our lives. I am impressed with each member of your family and their unique contributions to a wonderful family Christian ministry. I cannot imagine the discipline it takes to sing night after night like you do when you are touring. I am also encouraged by your young daughters. There must often be other things that they can think of to do, while they are singing the ‘old’ songs to the ‘old’ Christians so often. When I think of the years that I lost before I became a Christian, I am very much impressed with young people who give of their youth to the master. God bless you all, and keep singing.
